The British
Council is running a competition for young professionals from design and
fashion offering the winners an opportunity to join other fashion and
design professionals from around the world in London for London Design
Week and London Fashion Week.
What are the Young Creative Entrepreneur Awards?
The YCE Awards link the most talented young creative entrepreneurs
from around the world with top creative industries leaders in UK.
What are the aims of the programme?
The YCE awards programme celebrates the achievements and develops the
potential of young creative entrepreneurs in emerging markets across
the world. Awards for creative talent are common but the YCE awards are
unique in recognising the central role of creative entrepreneurs in the
development of a competitive and sustainable creative economy that
extends cultural engagement and supports cultural diversity, through the
development of a strong independent creative sector.
To
participate you should be 25-35 years old, a Saudi national with at
least 3 years of experience in any of the following areas:
- Architecture and interior design
- Product design
- Graphic design
- Fashion, accessories, perfume design
- Design and fashion promotion
- Design and fashion retail
- Design and fashion product research
- Design and fashion marketing
The deadline to submit applications
is: July 7th, 2012.
