 About the NPBC >
The National Prevention of Blindness Committee (NPBC) was established following a Royal Decree of King Fahad bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, which states that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia should join the global initiative of the World Health Organization (WHO) and the International Agency for Prevention of Blindness (IAPB) for elimination of major causes of avoidable blindness by the year 2020-VISION 2020 “The Right to Sight”.
