Modern-Day Crop Circles? > "Street Artist" Simon Beck's Stunning Snow Artwork

Artist Simon Beck uses raquettes/snowshoes to create amazing works of art, similar to crop circles, in snow. His pieces are the size of football fields and each takes him 5 to 9 hours each day to make. The artist literally walks to create his pieces on snow and frozen lakes mostly in the Alps of France. It takes him just a few days to map out his ideas!

Simon has so far focused on mathematical geometric forms with a 3D-like final look that are just stunning to look at especially when seen from high altitudes. He often redoes his work that have been destroyed by snowfall and he keeps coming up with new designs! As his main reason for starting these modern-day 'crop circles' was exercise, there is always a reason to walk for hours making art on snow.
