Introducing Bara Boux Bags by Saudi Designer Reema Bandar Al Saud > Spring/Summer 2013 Collection

Fresh from the runways of London and Paris fashion weeks is the new luxury brand Bara Boux. Conceived in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, the brand will officially launch in international markets in 2013.

Motivated by her passion for organisation, Princess Reema Bandar Al Saud founded Bara Boux to provide elegant and practical solutions to fit her hectic and globe trotting lifestyle. Reema, the creative director, is the vision behind the brand and is joined by Mimi Fraser who has developed the creative platform of the brand.

Bara Boux’s founder Reema is the ultimate Bara Boux woman. She is a modern woman who is alternately and simultaneously a mother, a business woman, and an adventurer, committed to wellbeing and surrounded by a circle of international friends. She is always on the move because the globe is both her home and her canvas. She is the 21st Century Neo Nomad. In order to facilitate that, she developed her own bespoke method of packing, using a system of transferable pouches which she could slip into the handbag, tote or suitcase she was moving around with. The philosophy behind Bara Box is functional design that is at once gracious and beautiful.

The Bara Boux bag and accessories collection are imbued with classic Bedouin values. The tribes that moved across Arabia were adept at travelling light, packing and moving efficiently, never wasting time. Bara Boux takes these principles of efficiency with time, space and all-encompassing hospitality, and offers them in a range of bags and packing solutions where everyone is included, and time and space are at a premium with designs that are beautiful in form and efficient in function.

For Spring/Summer 2013, Bara Boux launches with three tribes: Executive, Escape Artist and Studio 54.
