Since its successful debut in 2006 in Saudi Arabia, the performance continues to gain enthusiastic support and positive reviews on a national and international level. Most recently, the performance has crossed borders, successfully captivating new audiences, in Manhattan, New York, with its clever and witty dialogue.

Head Over Heels in Saudi Arabia is a fun, light-hearted play that touches on a variation of topics concerning Saudi Arabia. Dr. Maisah Sobaihi addresses many of the questions raised about Saudi Arabia with specific reference to Saudi women. The play is a one-woman show in which the narrator begins by telling her story and moves to stories of other women. She invites her audience to gain an insight on the triumphs and trials of the female experience through a unique, and light-hearted perspective.

By delivering this performance, Dr. Maisah Sobaihi establishes herself as the first Saudi performing artists ever to perform at a public venue - generating an appreciative attitude toward the arts in Saudi Arabia.

For the first time, and due to popular demand, there will be two performances in English and two performances in Arabic. The performance will be held at the Effat University Auditorium. Her performance at Effat University supports the Effat University Scholarship Program.
