Yesterday night saw the successful grand opening of the Oasis Pop Up Shop at Harvey Nichols Riyadh! Items from regional Arab designers and artists have already started to sell out from the very first day.
The Oasis Pop Up Shop, in partnership with Harvey Nichols Riyadh and Niche Arabia, in the shape of a modernized bedouin tent is a celebration of Oasis Magazine's 5th anniversary which Oasis decided to celebrate by highlighting the work of over 20 talented young designers from across the region. These designers include:
TCE Arabia (The College Experience bringing excitement to regional colleges with their humorous t-shirts and university hoodies)
Khalid Shafar (UAE product designer who just opened his own store in Dubai)
Bint Thani Turbans (UAE brand making modern-day turbans)
Fyunka (Jeddah brand that mixes Arab and pop culture as well as Arabic sayings on fun items)
FMM by Fatma AlMulla (UAE brand combining pop and traditional culture in bags, t-shirts, & more)
Kama Ana (Poetry book, book marks, and dolls made by Saudi poet & illustrator Dina AlShahwan)
Amal Haliq (UAE jewelry designer making unique jewelry)
L'Atelier Nawbar (Lebanese jewelry designer bringing back the vintage look in a modern way)
Mawahib (Directory of UAE illustrators, photographers, and graphic designer by Mariam bin Natoof)
