وبمدخله الحجري، هوبو هو سر مختبئ تتم حراسته جيدًا، داخل جراج لا يحمل أي علامات مميزة على طريق الشيخ زايد، وهو المكان الذي لا يعرفه سوى قلة قليلة من المجتمعات المبدعة التي تحب المخاطرة والتنقل بإستمرار من مكان لآخر، حيث يعتبرونه بمثابة منزلهم
وفي الخارج، لا توجد علامات كثيرة تدل على وجود هذه الوجهة الرائعة في المكان، ما عدا البواب المهذب والأنيق الذي يقف أمام بوابة سوداء مبشرة ولكنها لا تفصح في الوقت نفسه عن الأحداث المشتعلة التي تجري في الأسفل داخله... إلا إذا كنت تعرف مسبقًا
ومع سياسة منع التصوير، رواد هوبو أصحاب التجربة هم من سيهمسون لك بسلوكيات الليلة أثناء تناول الكوكتيل مع ومضة سريعة لكاميرا البولارويد. بينما يقوم الساقي ذو اللحية والصوت الأجش بهز عالم الكوكتيلات بقائمة خاصة من المشروبات المميزة

يفتح المكان أبوابه من الـ11 مساءً، وأعاد هوبو إكتشاف أمسيات الإثنين بضمه لأفضل الأصوات مع حفنة من المتواضعين. هوبو هو الإجابة عندما لا تشعر بالرغبة في إنهاء الليلة مبكرًا، ولكنك ترغب في الإبتعاد عن المدعين والمزيفين في الوقت نفسه. إنه بوتقة تنصهر تحتها جميع الشخصيات التي سترغب في التعرف على أيٍ منها
Rumour has it an exclusive lair is opening it’s inconspicuous doors in Dubai on Monday 29th February. If you haven’t heard about it yet, keep it hush hush, as HOBO is only for the modern nomad.
Like it’s stony enclave entrance, HOBO is a well-guarded secret concealed in an unmarked car park off Sheikh Zayed Road that only a handful of the edgiest creative communities and ‘vagabonds’ near and afar call home.
Outside, there is little sign such a hotspot exists except for the trimmed and dapper doorman who chaperones an auspicious black gateway that doesn’t disclose the electrifying happenings going-down inside...unless you are in the know.
With a no photo press policy, it is HOBO’s tried-and-true trailblazers who whisper of the night’s antics to you over a cocktail and a quick flash of a Polaroid. The husky bearded bartender is shaking up Dubai’s mixology scene with a special menu of signature drinks.
The space is electrifying – and we mean the right sort of vibe that can only be created from a live DJ that plays from vinyl records only.
Open from 11pm, HOBO reinvents Monday nights featuring the absolute best in raw sound and a scoop of down-to-earthness. HOBO is the answer for when you’re not quite ready to call it a night, but keen to swerve the fakes and phonies. A melting pot of everyone who is someone you want to know.
