Young, chic and oh-so-organic, Reem Al Khalifa decided to create her own line of organic skincare. After working closely with a California-based perfumist, Reem set up Green Bar Inc. in 2006. All her products are made, produced and packaged right in the heart of Bahrain. Not only that, but the ingredients of her products are all regional. From oils to elixirs, everything was created to detoxify and nourish your skin while also uplifting your spirit.

I wanted a witches cupboard and I wanted to make potions!
Oasis Magazine› Do you think that the current generation cares enough about products being completely natural? I think everyone is attracted to TRUTH and my products are honest to inspire authenticity.
Oasis Magazine› The Arab world is completely fascinated by franchising and importing goods, why did you decide to do everything locally? I thought our local land had a lot of exoticness and just needed some creativity to be exercised on it.
Oasis Magazine› What is your favorite product within your line? The Frangipani body oil; it is narcotic, fun, and sexy and I love to mix it with Hawaiian tropic sun protection.
Oasis Magazine› Were there any fun discoveries along the way of creating your products? Yes, it set so many good examples for myself. It helped me think. Before it, I was disillusioned and lost.
