Art Bags for Charity > A Global Project (Saudi to London)

Noura Bouzo's Bag for the NHHCF, Rubaiyat, Cocinelle Art Charity Project

The National Home Health Care Foundation (NHHCF) partnered with Rubaiyat and Cocinelle, leading Italian fashion house, to launch a global charity art project. Tonight, the project that brought together 4 Saudi artists for this worthy cause, will be auctioning off the 1st bag from each of the artists at the Park Hyatt in Jeddah. The goal of this project is to bring together the creative community to bring more resources, attention, and funds for the elderly patients in need and their families.

The artists chosen are: Zaman Al-Jasem (زمان الجاسم), Noura Bouzo (نورة بوظو), Faisal Samra (فيصل سمرا), and photographer Faisal Al-Malki (فيصل المالكي). The handbags will be launched in Jeddah, Riyadh and Khobar then it will move on to London's Cocinelle store on Kings Road. Each of the artists was interviewed about their artwork and these video-taped interviews will be on view at each of the locations. The limited edition & numbered handbags (500 from each artist) will be available for purchase at all Rubaiyat stores in KSA and at Cocinelle stores in London starting early May.

Tonight's event will be launched by Princess Adellah bint Abdullah bin Abdulaziz and Princess Jawaher bint Naif bin Abdulaziz and will be attended by 500 ladies of society.
