Johnny Farah Launches The Serpent Collection > A Collaboration between Artist Ranya Sarakbi and Designer Johnny Farah > November 15

Artist Ranya Sarakbi and designer Johnny Farah have collaborated to create a one off luxury, leather and metal collection. The range - which will comprise three pieces in a selection of leathers – will launch in the Johnny Farah boutique from 6pm to 9pm on the 15th of November. The center piece of the launch event will be an intricate sculpture that Johnny commissioned Ranya to make. This piece has been six months in the making and will be unveiled for the first time at the event.

“My collaboration with Johnny Farah has been a great experience for me. It offered me the opportunity to experiment with new materials and to learn to appreciate the user’s needs without restraining the creative process” said Ranya of the partnership.

Rania Sarakbi is a self-taught painter and sculptor. Her work over the years has resulted in the buildup of different collections of paintings and objects, ranging from functional vessels and wearable ornaments, to sculpture. Some of her work has been exhibited internationally in galleries and museums and she has also collaborated on projects. Ranya lives and works between Beirut and Milan.

The event, which will be held at the Johnny Farah Saifi boutique, will be the third in a series of artist collaborations, the first being a partnership with Jean Marc Nahas and the second with Joe Kesrouani. Additional designers in the series will be announced individually in advance of each launch.
Since its conception in 1975, Johnny Farah has continued to provide quality pieces in the Johnny Farah signature style. His pieces have been a global success, selling in Lebanon, Dubai, USA and Japan. The Johnny Farah brand is synonymous with beautiful craftsmanship, exceptional quality and classic designs. Johnny currently works and resides in Beirut.
