(DIS) APPEARANCE > Oasis Magazine Goes Island Hopping In The Maldives!

This summer we headed to the Maldives for some well-deserved relaxation and adventure on the gorgeous turquoise waters and golden beaches of the beautiful islands. But before we left on our vacation, it's easy to say that we were overwhelmed with the luxury hotel choices available! On our previous trip to the Maldives, we chose to go to a well-known luxury hotel chain: The Four Seasons (Kuda Huraa). It was a beautiful resort, where we learned about the Maldives, its arts, culture, and where we took a few surfing lessons.

On this trip, we decided to island hop and give you a real taste of how different each resort is and how much of a difference it makes to choose the right resort for you! Check out our next posts for our reviews.

But, before we take you on our journey through four different resorts, we leave you with a brief from The Maldives Pavilion at this year's Venice Biennale... What would it mean for the Maldives islands to disappear?

"The history of artistic aesthetics of the Maldives is not widely documented, the archipelago is not known for its visual arts activities but rather for its most central aesthetical themes such as supreme beauty of the ocean, ecology and environment. CPS intends to treat the culture and nature of Maldives as our central subject, marking its importance through its ecology, and what it would mean for the islands to disappear."
